Having purchased your property in Bulgaria there are immediately two questions that will spring to mind, firstly who will look after my house or apartment when I am not there? and secondly who can I find to help with the renovations or building of my home? I will address each of these in turn.
Renovations and New Builds
The first step is to find a reliable company to look after your interests and liaise with the builders and architects carrying out any work. Having done this you then need to make sure you discuss the complete project with them and that they understand exactly what your requirements are. They also need to be capable of over-seeing the project and keeping you up-dated with regular e-mails and photographs of progress and then bringing the project to a successful conclusion. All of this does of course need a very good knowledge of English and the standards expected by Western European clients. This may seem an obvious requirement but in too many cases there appears to be a lack of understanding between the clients and the people carrying out the work, with the result that you arrive back and find things are not as you expected them to be. Black Sea Property being a UK company can full-fill all of these requirements and has over 20yrs experience of working with builders and architects on a wide variety of projects, giving their clients peace of mind and looking after their interests though-out the whole project.
Property Management
This is another area that Black Sea Property has an extensive knowledge of and we offer everything from a simple looking after your property and paying your bills on time to a complete management package designed for those wishing to take advantage of holiday or permanent lettings. Property management is a highly specialised business and should not be entrusted to in-experienced people, we have seen heartache result from leaving the management of your property to local neighbours or people just starting in the business.
In many years of working in this field we have watched as people have lost their dream homes because somebody forgot to pay the bills, or simply pocketed the money, have not kept up insurance payments, don’t do regular checks resulting in water or fire damage, or don’t supervise the cleaners etc so the property falls into a bad state and the gardens become overgrown. How would you feel if you turned up having paid good money for your holiday let, or came on holiday yourself, and found the place in poor condition, we have all heard the stories, don’t let your home become another one.
Contact Ron or Kosi at Black Sea Property to discuss your requirements, we will be pleased to help in any way we can.
